Sabha is a dhikr counter. It has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Your counts, goals, streaks and reminders stay on your device.

What stays on your device

Everything you create in Sabha is stored only on your phone:

• your dhikr, sets and counts
• your goals, streaks and history
• your reminders
• your settings, including your saved location if you set one

We do not run servers, so we never receive this data. If you delete the app, this data is deleted with it, unless your phone’s own backup (iCloud or Google) has a copy.

Location

Sabha can use your location to work out local prayer times. Those times set when your day starts (at Fajr) and when prayer-based reminders fire.

• Sabha asks for location only when you choose to set it, and only while the app is open. It never tracks you in the background.
• Your coordinates are saved on your device.
• Online prayer times (on by default). When “Fetch prayer times online” is on, Sabha sends your latitude, longitude and chosen calculation method to the Aladhan prayer times service (api.aladhan.com) to get the month’s prayer times. Nothing else goes with the request: no name, account or device ID. Aladhan is run by a third party with its own privacy practices. Like any web service, it can see your IP address.
• You can turn this off under Settings → Prayer times. Sabha then works out prayer times on your device and sends nothing.
• If you never grant location, Sabha starts each day at midnight and sends nothing.

Microphone

“Count by voice” is optional. It uses the microphone to detect each time you say a dhikr, so you can count without tapping.

• Sabha processes the sound on your device, as it happens.
• Audio is never recorded, saved or sent anywhere.
• The microphone is used only while voice counting is on, and you can switch it off at any time.

Notifications

Reminders are scheduled on your device by your phone’s own notification system. They are not sent from a server.

Export and import

You can export your data as a file. The file is created on your device, and you choose where it goes using your phone’s share sheet. Sabha does not send it anywhere on its own. Import reads a file that you pick.

Children

Sabha does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Your choices

• Turn off online prayer times in Settings.
• Deny or revoke location and microphone access in your phone’s settings. The rest of the app keeps working.
• Delete all your data by deleting the app.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update it here and change the effective date above.
